Nicola’s journey with Bless began in 2021 when she joined as a volunteer, bringing a wealth of experience, compassion, and a remarkable story of resilience. With a background as a foster parent, pre-assessment trainer in Social Care, and educator for primary and special needs children, Nicola has always been deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of others. However, her life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with a brain tumour. This diagnosis led her to step away from her cherished teaching role, leaving her searching for purpose and direction. Since connecting with Bless, Nicola has poured her heart into supporting others. She leads our crafting and company group in Hemsworth, fostering creativity and connection among community members. Her dedication shines through her role as a facilitator for Our Angels—a support group providing comfort and understanding to women who have experienced the profound loss of babies through miscarriage, stillbirth, or IVF. The Facebook community for Our Angels has grown to over a thousand members, reflecting the impact of Nicola’s nurturing approach. Nicola exemplifies the spirit of Bless—dedicated, compassionate, and driven to make a difference. Whether she’s inspiring creativity through crafting or offering solace through shared experiences, her contributions are invaluable to everyone she touches.
