We are really pleased to share that the Charles Hayward Foundation is supporting our Memory Friendship Group — and we honestly couldn’t be more grateful. This group is such a special part of Bless: twice a week we bring older people living with dementia (and their amazing carers) together for music, laughter, gentle movement, and proper friendship. It’s one of those groups where you can feel the warmth as soon as you walk in.
Their funding means we can keep the group running strong and add a few things our members have been asking for. We’ll be able to continue our music and chair‑based movement sessions, refresh some of our resources, and introduce a dedicated hour just for carers — giving them a bit of breathing space, a cuppa, and time to chat with people who truly get what they’re going through. It also helps us spread the word through local GPs, hospitals and care homes so more people can join us.
A huge thank you to the Charles Hayward Foundation for backing this work. Your support helps us keep this much‑loved group going and makes a real difference to people who need it.
